I installed this and it wouldn't even open. That's another one from Object Desktop that is useless on Vista!!

You could always go back to XP

It is on the Development table but there is no timeline. Next up for Vista is WindowFX.

I considered getting this new laptop with XP, but when you spend close to two thousand dollars for something, do you really want to start off with an obsolete OS? And I had faith........after all the years I've used WindowBlinds and all, and NEVER had a problem, why would I think this would be any different?
Of course, those were all stand alone programs, I've only just recently "upgraded" to OD.

I will wait, I know these things take time and Vista is a major GUI change from XP. I know Stardock will incorporate all the good things Vista offers graphics wise and produce an ass kickin' suite of apps to take advantage of it. I am excited about CursorFX and a new WindowFX for Vista.
I will try to be patient, but please hurry, I am already bored with Vista's limited effects.

um... works for me, but OD has to be running. that's not to say that it works well, but it does work. The lame of the situation is that i bought the whole OD thing, under the impression that it was all vista compatible now, which its not the case. In fact WB6 is only in beta??
In any case, IX does work in Vista, but it crashes the DeskScapes completely, and doesn't allow any of the changes in the Vista desktop settings to take effect. All background changes apparently need to be made inside the IX control panel. any thoughts?
